Not sure why that doesn't work. Try running '/privs username' to see what privs they actually have, then run '/revoke username priv' and '/grant username priv' to add/remove privs.

Your idea is simply pointless, it doesn't add anything, it only fixes a problem in your head. I agree 100%. And most important: Why do you post here? I thought you left Minetest because everyone is so bad here and you are the poor victim... So he didn't feel like posting here for a while; that mean...

Uh. Senseless change? Individual cubes have been called "nodes" forever and ever.

By "border-stone", do you mean jachoo's protection blocks?

...why? Individual cubes are called "nodes" nearly everywhere, including the api and the source. Renaming them would be a lot of work, and just calling them "blocks" would cause lots of confusion. It is sort of confusing how that wiki page is named "Blocks" and then explains that they are called "no...

I would like it if the usernames were simply entities attached to players, so they would be visible when the player is. btw, there is an option called "unlimited_player_transfer_distance". If you set that to "true" or "1", player names won't be shown if the other player is too far away. If the other...

This is a 0.3 server, so it doesn't have what we call mods (lua scripts). Darkrose has made a few changes to the c++ code though; look at the first post here for details.

A texture pack is just a folder full of images. Download one and look inside to see what images you need; the file names should explain pretty well what the image is a texture for. A good beginner's program for making the images is mtPaint.

Might be more practical to make a music player right in lua. That would actually be necessary if you want to play sounds from the server on clients.

A texture pack can be used with any installation of Minetest. For a system-wide installation on linux, extract all the files to ~/.minetest/textures/all.

Been having weird problems lately. Don't use shops belonging to players who haven't been on recently, as that will crash the server. Also, for some reason, map saving is disabled (don't build anything great now).
