Does this mod have settings so you can easily adjust which heights things do/don't appear at? If so it should be quite easy to run alongside other_worlds. I've now switched the recipe back to requiring diamonds and tweaked the durability as well. I think this should help with balance issues, but happy to hear feedback or further suggestions.

I've not tried anything with node timers before, but if that would address the devs' concern I'll look into it. I think switching to diamonds/ adjusting number of uses is probably going to be preferable, but will see if they have more to say on it first.

It turns off when using noclip and inside nodes. This is because if you're flying through walls with noclip, you probably want to get a good view of cave systems, but that's really difficult against a black background.

It should then turn on again when you are inside a cave.

Small update. Portholes now added for the use of any aspiring shipbuilders.

Regular and jungle wood versions are included in the mod, but adding more should be easy for anyone used to editing mods.

Hi jakab, you're teleporting too high. Regular space is 5000 to 6000. RedSky region is 6000 to 7000. 7000+ is set to "blackness", which seems to be what you're seeing here, and no asteroids will appear at this height. It's basically a reserved space where someone who knows a bit about mods...

Added an option to enable player gravity changes while in space. This is off by default, but can be changed in the settings file for the mod.

Well, this has height based skybox switching as part of it. When a player reaches a certain height a new skybox drops in. So we have the regular skybox with the moving sun and moon on the surface, then over a certain height the space one appears. What would you be looking for in a time based switche...

Hi Andrey, I'm not sure what you mean by other dimensions. This simply works above the usual map (you can adjust the height). The code is all on github if you want to check, or you can take a look on the Red Cat server if you want to see the mod in action.
