how to install minetest from source exactly like dnf does it

I had installed minetest prior on Fedora with "Sudo dnf install minetest minetest-server". now i am trying to change the version but using source code. but the config files are set to act like the world was installed the way apt installs it. i'm not an expert and dont know how all the cmak...

REQUEST: minetest 0.4.14 AND minetest-server 0.4.14

hello everyone,

I have been unable to find minetest 0.4.14 AND minetest-server 0.4.14. I have however been able to find.15 as well as 0.4.13 for both on fedora's repositories. My server runs Fedora 24. I'm looking either for standalone rpm or source code. from your earlier official releases. Thanks!

the advtrains mod is causing problems with the update to the new version (of course!) until orwell resolves it, dont remove the "unknown item" tracks.

what makes this server different from other servers is that it has more mods than any other. This combines mods you would find scattered across some servers, some you wont find at all. some of them include pipeworks, mesecons, advtrains, technic, vehicles (cars, trucks, airplanes, jets, tanks, etc, ...

gpcf you could try reverting to the older version of advtrains. I dont know if that will help but you could try it. although i got the latest working on my server and it seems to be ok. check out Trumpland minetest server at 96.230.218.149 port 30000 I'm there a lot.

it ended up that the "banish" mod was interfering. I've removed it for now. I can always edit the lua file later to remove spawn command.

It sounds like you have another mod that's providing a /spawn command. I don't know what MT does if more than one mod tries to register the same chat command, but I'd assume that one "wins" - the wrong one in this case. Disable all other mods that offer "/spawn" and try again. d...

no, that does not set the /spawn piont, that only sets where people with interact respawn to, I've run that, still /spawn doesnt work

set spawn newplayer mod

I have the newplayer mod, which includes a /spawn command that will over-ride all other mods that offer /spawn. But I dont know how to set the /spawn location on this mod. anyone know how?

id for sheep mobs mod

I'm admin of a server and have the mobs mod. I was looking for the ID of the sheep, so I checked the init.lua of the mobs mod and found it was mobs:sheep. Yet /give player mobs:sheep or /giveme mobs:sheep does not work at all. debug will not pick their ID up. can anyone help?
