How to make screenshots showing a player?

by hajo » Sat Dec 24, 2016 17:29

In multiplayer it would be easy to make a screenshot of a buddy,
but how can this be done in singleplayer, e.g. for making pictures for a tutorial ?

Perhaps by setting the viewing distance/angle for the camera (F7),
or maybe posing a block/fake player, or a passive/controllable mob ?

There are screenshots of playerskins, how were those pictures made ?

So, you can tell me how "setting the viewing distance/angle for the camera (F7)" works ?
