FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hello,
I am running a server on one of my computers.
Here is the address : 195.132.199.114:30000 (or strasweb.no-ip.org)
It runs on an old P4 with Windows XP so it might be a bit slow.
It is up most of the time and is in creative mode, so all players are welcome.

PS : I have a little question : How are passwords in auth.txt encrypted ?

sha-1 + base64

Hum, I tried to use the sha1_base64 function in Perl and it gave me a different result.
But nevermind, that was just curiosity.

If I remember correctly the player name is concatenated to the password. You should be able to read this in the source code. I don't have the source on this PC so I can't check.

For those complaining about the lack of admins:

1. We have a job.

Edit: I have registered a domain for the server: strasweb.no-ip.org

Re-edit : The server now runs on another Pentium 4 with more RAM and Ubuntu Server so blocks should now be generated faster.
