Everyone ignores my version :-(

Sorry sfan5, I guess yours IS the official version at the moment. That was the first one I tried but it seemed rather awkward and featureless.
xyz gave us a real head start with something almost playable. Since c55 merged that into his sailfish branch I felt that was the most appropriate choice as a base to work from.

How do you build the app from the source code? Just wondering, as I would like to try out some of the builds that don't have an apk file...

7:42 PM - Bauglio: I think if you go to staples you could steal firmware from a fax machine that would run better than win10 does on any platform
7:42 PM - Bauglio: so fudge the stable build
7:43 PM - Bauglio: get the staple build

FYI - sapier's builds from a couple of days ago have the same issues with rails and interaction that I identified a couple of days ago. (And in fact, digging and placing blocks is even worse - very haphazard whether it actually works). Are you guys compiling a list of known issues anywhere?

Hi, stu. I'm within a few days trying to build your port. Part of the devices it works, but for the most part error. Your Assembly works on all devices. What is the reason?

Ive found another problem...
I do have now android installed on my box, and found out that keyboard and mouse support should stay intact.
It is weird that i have to press mouse button to look around. Also moving with keys is choppy as hell.

seems pretty good.

There are some things to fix and some things to change though.

Fix:
-Big string o' glitches:
1. app closes itself
2.cannot switch pages on home screen
2.all apps button stops working
3.does not ask to reset when I hold power but just resets.

Changes:
-Add split touch controls to make it more original game-like
-delete the options-controls section
-add an auto jump feature like MC:PE

I have a Zeki 7" capacitive tablet
model:TBD753B

Sorry, I am no longer working on this as there is now an official android port in the pipeline.
Ask on irc freenode #minetest or #minetest-dev if you are interested in testing it.

What's wrong with the version sapier's been working on? That client worked pretty well. The client stu did worked also well. There where minor details with all clients, but in general, it is certainly playable.

I hope that client gets released eventually. Try to consider putting it up in the F-Droid android market. They have open source programs, and people using that alternate store will more likely be able to enjoy the client than those in the main app store.

Port sapier bad (at the moment). Manage flattened, and turned the camera freezes. FPS 5. On your port 30 FPS!
