Yes, but not the textures(they wouldn't be too hard to remap).
And the textures have lighting similar to the image in the 1st post.

I have models of a similar style for Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, and Pikachu(even though you already have that).
Would you be interested in using them? They don't use small textures.

I have no idea what's causing the problem then, I'm using the same version and it worked fine for me, both before and after lightseer's change. Are you using any mods that might be causing problems?

What version of minetest are you using? I don't really understand what the problem is, but I have seen a similar error with the experience mod before.

Small update:
I've added braking (used by the cars), and fixed some problems with turning.
The vehicles should turn more smoothly now.

Update:
I've attempted to improve performance a bit.
>Long grass and flowers now use a lbm instead of an abm to spawn butterflies and dragonflies.
>mobs spawn less frequently
>Snow won't fall over sand and desert sand.
>a few texture improvements
>fixed a bug with the dust weather
