Amazing. Makes sense too. When will mobs be added? Even a simple mob like a pig or something? Any hint whatsoever on when they are planned? There already is a simple sheep and a stone monster. The sheep behaves pretty good already (flees when hit, and is really hard to catch again) but doesn't drop...

my approach solves this by moving the code to `drivers` and `factors`, which are then attached to monsters in the state table. These driver codes can be inserted by any lua mod, and they literally work in the form of `entity_ai.register_driver(name, driverdef) which is all too familiar. That allows...

A problem that was evident early on is the lag. I get the feeling that those bird mobs takes their toll, but I don't know. Usually I can have my draw distance set to about 200, but in Farlands I need to lower it to around 60 to achieve the same framerate. I suggest looking into the mod profiling th...

I've been wondering if I should be enforcing specific rules regarding dating and/or role playing, since every time I login I see players engaging in these activities. But I can't find any mention in this thread and only a cursory warning at spawn. So I'm hesitant do discourage those players without...
