Re: Where does Sam's stuff go?

you make it way too complicated :P his pocket is a gate to the 4th dimension. that's why he can store 30.000Kg stones in it. =(^.^)= 32 (number of stacks) × 99 (size of stack) × 1m³ (volume of node) × 3000kg/m³ (average density of stone) = 9504000kg. It is about 10.000 tons. Sam has invisible freig...

Re: Where does Sam's stuff go?

I prefer Sam has round head instead of this backpack. This cube on the top, that happens to be head, irritates me. So here backpack is like parallelepiped with accurately cut corners. BUT DID ANYONE THINK ABOUT CUTTING CORNERS OF THAT CUBE ON THE TOP. UH? http://cs6.pikabu.ru/images/big_size_comm/20...

In English, yes.

In Russian, as well. (except for -ия in the end, which sounds -iya for English-speaker).

Австралия, Авcтрия, Колумбия, Словакия, Малайзия, Россия and so on.

Re: Should we rename Minetest? (poll)

Many countries' names end with -ia. For example, Australia, Austria, Colombia, Slovakia, Malaysia, Russia and so on.

So my another suggestion is Voxelia.

Re: Should we rename Minetest? (poll)

It's simple. If names do not fit, let's use other languages.

gorniak is transliterated form of горняк, which means miner in Russian.
Here root is гор-. Гора means mountain.

Re: Colored chat

I am against colored messages from users. Only warnings and errors (and other internal services' messages) must be typed with different color. But not users' ones.

I imagine like every kid will paint words and letters with rainbow colors.

Re: Bug with glass

It would be a pain to replace stairs using WorldEdit. Checking each node for its definition to decide whether param2 should be cleared or not. For simplyness, request a new command to clear param2 for all nodes in the selected area. Maybe even better than that would be the ability to specify param ...

Re: Removal of Nyan Cats: how to preserve them in worlds

Who the hell is PB&J Pup?

Something from US cartoon TV series?
What about something from Soviet cartoons? Americans will not worry about? Or will they ask the same question "Who the hell is..."?

By the way, I did not know anything about Nyan cat either.

pine_sapling vs junglesapling

Itemstrings are so inconsistent! Some have underscores for separating words, another — do not — and looks like long snot.

Damn. No standard at all.

Re: Bug with glass

So you want it to zero out param2 in some cases but not others? That seems rather inconsistent to me. So you want glass with glitches? That seems rather inconsistent to me. The "glitches" are just a non-zero param2, which is what it had before you replaced it. So? I just can't understand ...

Re: Bug with glass

WorldEdit replaces the node name *only*, and does not touch param2, metadata, etc. when doing //replace. That way, if you replace some rotated nodes with some others that support rotation, they stay rotated. If you want to clear the param2 value for the selected area, you can use this: //luatransfo...

Re: Minetest version numbers

Real semvar would make Minetest's version like 4.15.0, where the 0 is a patch version - it's incremented every time a bug fix release is made that does not add features. If Minetest does change system, it will be to proper semvar For more information, see http://semver.org/ So, let new version be 4...
