Skybox

I've been wondering how to change the texture for the sky. I've found references to the "skybox" that Moon-realm uses, but I can't find any more information on it.

Is there any way I could have a spawner that will spawn more than one zombie at a time? For instance, place one spawner, and that spawner will make sure there are always x amount of zombies in the area? Or just have it spawn x amount and disappear?

Dev MT

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it. I can't figure out how to get the latest dev version for Windows 7. I know to go to github and get Minetest and Minetest_game, but I can't figure out what to do from there. Any advice is appreciated.

Two float islands made using world edit. I have a problem when loading the .we of parts of the islands loading into the wrong place, but I'm not sure if this is a world edit problem or a problem with my own system. Enjoy! I could definitely include a .we schem if anyone is interested. They are flat on top, because they aren't very big and I made them with the plan to make a small city/village on them. Adding mountains wouldn't be hard, though; I may have to try it out and see how it looks.

Converting minecraft worlds to minetest?

Is there any way to do this? I don't actually want to convert premade minecraft worlds, but rather would like this so I could use an editor like world painter, then convert the file to minetest. Is there any way to do this?

Update: Found some float islands. I had to go up to about 2000. Still wondering if there's any way to get them a bit lower.

I chose indev as mapgenerator, and flew up for about 3 mintues, but didn't see any float islands. I am also using the dev version. Should I just keep going up or am I missing something? Is there any way to get them to appear further down?

Mod Request:Columns

I think it would be neat and add a lot of building capabilities to have "column blocks". Similar to a slab block but with smaller width rather than a shorter height.

Ok, sorry! Basically if you make something out of spheres, such as a mountain or an island, the smooth brush makes everything smooth so that you get the more natural "step" like gradient on the land instead of the very spherical or hard lines. It's just used to make everything look like a naturally ...

It's actually called the smooth feature, not blend. Here's a video demonstrating how it works in MC.

The blend feature is mainly for building hills/mountains. Basically, once you build up the basic structure, the tool will then blend it out between peaks/to the ground so it looks more natural without having to place each individual block.

Feature Request:

It would be really nice to have a blend function such as the one in the MC voxel editor. That way, when creating landscape features such as hills or mountains, you could get a much more natural effect.
