Re: [Mod] Text / Code Editor [0.1][editor]

Indeed a nice file browser to explore some folder structures might be very useful. It could be used as plugin or api for such mods as WE or any other mod that needs to load and save content to a folder structure. It would be cool if for example I could organize my schematics in several folders or ev...

Re: @test@ Just Test II [SERVER]

yesterday I wandered east and found a nice large body of water with some mountains beyond. There I found a hidden lake and as night began built a little base at it's shores. Then I climbed the nearby peaks to get an overview and found a well formed peak that was perfect for a castle - and then it st...

absolutly no one looks at new mod. just so you don't feel so frustrated... I downloaded the mod the day you first posted it. I fiddled with it in different worlds. I downloaded newer versions. I fiddled with screenspace conflicts it has with other stuff I am using. I have bookmarked the thread and ...

Re: Reconstruct your version of some Roman Baths

Rhetoric is the art of speech, what I was refering to was a rhetorical question. A question that did not expect an answer. In this case because you seem to have allready known the answer and presumably just wanted to show your amazement, using the question form for dramatic effect. So I simply missu...

Re: Reconstruct your version of some Roman Baths

uhm, yes the ruins of the building that started this map was found in the Netherlands, a european country where they today speak a language known as Dutch. Actually Heerlen lies in the very south of the Netherlands and the local language is called Limburgish which is closely related to Dutch and a l...

Re: [Mod] SkillsFramework [0.4] [skillsframework]

just search the lua_api-txt for "digger" it is used ;-P also see for example minetest.node_dig or here minetest.register_node (after_dig_node) I would rather suggest the user add a number to his name or use some other variant as 'digger' is indeed used in the code. You probably have a mod ...

Re: Chart Setup

indeed your wording is difficult to understand. some words seem wrong. to limit the space the players can visit you can do this: # Where the map generator stops. # Please note: # - Limited to 31000 (setting above has no effect) # - The map generator works in groups of 80x80x80 nodes (5x5x5 MapBlocks...

Re: Menu script?

simply create a folder called minetest/sounds in the root directory of minetest and add a file called main_menu.ogg.
Now open the main menu and enjoy the music. This has been possible for quite a while now.

Re: Multiple worlds infrastructure?

nope, probably not the way you seem to be wishing for. "Subgames" are collections of mods similar to a "Modpack", so yes you can combine the mods of two different subgames into one subgame. Of course you will have to watch out for name-space conflicts. for example you could have ...

Re: [Mod] Easy Vending Machines [0.1.1] [easyvend]

... I already have thought of generalizing this whole trade thing but I have decided not to do so. It would require a nearly complete rewrite of the mod. It would also break with the original mod, obviously. But when I think of it, it doesn't really make sense to “forbid” normal trading altogether ...

Re: Mod / Mob creation in Blender - a quick-start guide/basi

it is nice if the pixels in textures fit the model -> 16*16 pixels to a block seem the default with 32*32 also used a lot. So choose your favorite texture and decide from there what resolution your models should have to look well in the game. Most models look better if the edges are on pixel borders.
