only one? (missunderstanding youre request on purpose ;-P ) If we supply only one well polished game then new players will think THAT is minetest. I would rather suggest to bundle some extremely different examples. Sadly this wont make the download smaller. Appart from any of the "normal" ...

you might be interested in the "Stele" mod in the Display Modpack that includes an editable stele that can be used as gravestone. You could expand that idea.

BlueFireIceUn, if you are looking for things to do, one of the things one can do at the moment to help the minetest community is to download the dev version, test it and report bugs. So that hopefully all show stopping bugs are found during feature freeze and the new version 0.4.15 can be presented ...

cool but I must admit, like Sokomine I wonder if mobs could do something else than go straight at you at first sight and start biting and hiting the player until one or the other dies. I would think this could be more creepy if they don't attack you straight away but rather start circling the player...

I use minetest on windows machines only from portable devices. I never had any problems. It seems to run faster from a portable harddisk over usb than from any usb stick I have. I have bundled other minetest tools such as the mapper with it and use Asuite to access the programs easily

cool! I like that map here's a snapshot of some of the tunnels at -50 below spawn. Some tunnels could need a connection :-) Shown is a double 100m grid around spawn. There are deeper levels of large horizontal tunnel systems but this has the largest grid at the moment although other levels may sport...

I just read through the issues and I just might get hooked :-D I have experimented with changing the crafting system somewhat but keeping it balanced is not that easy. You always need a way to get started again if you are stranded with nothing and it shouldn't need hours to just get the basics done ...
