That's perfectly normal, the white gaps happen in places where the world was not generated yet. Since the world is only generated when a player walks near the area this happens often. Also the PKGBUILD could use some updates, minetestmapper supports proper share paths and colors.txt no longer needs to be in current directory.

Minetest mods can use the require() function to include any kind of Lua modules. If this works with Torch7 then you can use it like that.

The script API exposes some "cheat events" that are triggered when inconsistencies like the ones you mentioned are detected. Mods can make use of this and kick player when too many inconsistencies are detected.

Zu den PPAs die Arcelmi verlinkt hat:
Diese funktionieren auf dem Raspberry Pi 100% nicht da sie von amd64 oder i386 ausgehen, der Rpi aber auf der ARM-Architektur läuft.

Generell ist Minetest auf dem Rpi technisch sehrwohl möglich aber aufgrund einiger Feinheiten derzeit nicht funktionstüchtig.
