Nice! I think many players recognize the problem this item is trying to solve and will find it useful.

Personally I like for my players to get that gut feeling of vertigo when approaching an unknown abyss. :)

Sorry if I assumed your economical ability Sires, I have no idea how much $5 is in real price where you live. If you have the time and ability you could always have a friend sign up for a new DO account after each two months and migrate the server to a new one.

That's so good xisd, thank you for your effort. It works as intended with the sign density. The two bugs I found was that the inventory item has no tooltip title and that signs spawn on treetops. Perhaps it's good to check for underlying node before spawning? Ideally it would also spawn in already g...

There's no free service that I've seen matching your requirements. However, if you're technically inclined or willing to learn some basic linux commandline stuff, I recommend getting a Digital Ocean account and use their smallest Virtual Private Server (VPS) configuration. You then get a linux based...

As I said to BrunoMine, there needs to be a bottom layer dealing with finite energy in MT:

I imagine it as an Energy API to consolidate how energy should work in MT in a uniform way, then modular machinic mods with well-defined usecases on top of that.

Yes, the default recipe is probably as balanced as it can be. I'd rather not edit mod code, because I want to be able to pull the latest updates to it without having the pull overwrite my tweaks. In most worlds where cotton should exist, I've found it to be very rare. That makes ropes hard to get with only farming dependency fulfilled, whereas with vines mod ropes comes easy. The difference in balance is fine really, but if you're looking for an default alternative for vines, perhaps a rope ...

Perhaps there could be a team of writers of documentation. Not all of us have the ability to contribute in code anyway. The incentive to write would of course increase if the work would end up in minetest_game.

Very interesting mod with obvious usefulness. Will try it out! I don't know the recipes, but it occurs to me that the items are quite powerful with both particles and light. Yet it needs to be cheap for it to have a real use…

Looks like there's a possible solution. If Paramat doesn't take it into his main repository I'll make a fork of catacombs that's compatible with Digtron for you. I have a feature request. As the craftguide now have a progressive mode one might be reluctant to reveal all available items in a game through the doc modpack. Perhaps there's a way to make a progressive feature in doc as well? (Only items visible in-world and in inventory are available for lookup.)

I'd like to install this on a server, but since I can't find a height setting it interferes with nether realms and such stuff. Would it be possible to look into it. A min_height and and max_height as global setting variables would be ideal.
