How to make a minetest server with hamachi? Please detaliated instructions
can others connect to my server if they dont have hamachi?
If you want to tell me its better to use port forwarding, you should know that i have a dynamic ip and there is no way to use no-ip or such websites. I used support pannel for my routers website, and they said its possible only if i have a static ip. :((

Another free option is to sign up at [url]noip.com[/url] - click on Getting Started under Personal Use, and then scroll down and under No-IP Free, click Sign Up Now. You'll need to run the noip service on your computer - basically what it does is every 30 minutes or so (you can configure the interval), it contacts the noip server and tells it your IP address, so that the domain name you choose (e.g. artur99.no-ip.biz, or something like that) will always connect to your computer, regardless of its dynamic IP address. You'll have to log on to your account on their website once a month to prevent it from being cancelled, but other than that it's pretty painless, and also free.

You can host any kind of online service if you have a dynamic IP.

Nowhere. People simply won't give you a VPS that could run a Minetest server for free...

Idk... I asked for help for port forwarding for my router, and they told me i cant port forward my router because i have a private and dynamic ip which is not routable, and this is because the internet provider

Your internal ("private") IP is the IP people in your network use to connect to your server. People not in your network use your external IP.

Many people here don't want to use hamachi...
You CAN (should) use no-ip or whatever DNS service (I recommand FreeDNS).
It's just that you have to update your IP everyday, on their website, or with a daemon that does it for you.

I made a new network on hamachi. I made the server file, i started it, than i started minetest and clicked multiplayer
what should i write on address and on the port?
