poxyist - the Russian player. attacks our Russian players in my team. Some sometimes are afraid to enter a game as he attacks constantly and plunders.

uses daily obscene language and insults children and adults. we asked it to cease to do it, but he continues(((

The player poxyist has already been banned. Others are sure to follow as I research the logs.

Also a reminder that PVP from minecarts and boats is considered cheating. Anyone that is caught exploiting bugs to kill players will have their privileges suspended.

As of today, PVP gangs are now prohibited. If you conspire to attack another player or group of players without provocation that is grounds for a tempban. The only exception is if you are defending your own property from an attack. JT2 is not war simulation server.

Team battles are fine, but only if all players consent.

I've updated the rules. All players should read the glass Information Kiosk at spawn. The latest version will always be published there.

No griefing. No trolling. No building over existing land claims. No impersonating staff. No dating. No hacking. No cheating. No cursing. No bullying. No doxxing. Punishment will vary based upon the infraction and its severity.

In addition, the Citations Wall has been moved onto Church Street (formerly it was located behind my bones collector). Players that violate the rules will have a citation posted on this wall.

I understand, and you are not alone. Once I crack down on the bullying, I think that will solve most of the concerns of PVP.

I almost forgot! Last Saturday we had an impromptu inauguration party for the bridge overlooking the French Village (Le Ville Français).

It was an unexpected turnout! I'd only invited a few friends to stop by. Yet someone began randomly teleporting players and next thing I knew, half the city was there for a group photo. Say cheese xD

Quick question... when I was on JT2 earlier I noticed I had noob inventory, do we lose inventory again every night if items are not in a chest? I was on my way to my cabin with a full inventory when the server went down. *biting nails*

Why do I seem to see a 12th unnamed player in the photo?

As I said, I drowned under the spawn and couldn't find my bones. They were first to get my stuff because of my idiocy.
I just attacked some random player, got jailed and drowned on my way back to spawn.

As of swearing, I also saw in the chat a few times and one of them separated letters in with spaces thinking we wouldn't notice it's

Nope.. Not all Russian players are bad players. It is always just a few trouble maker between us that upset all. Sorcerykid did address the problem and is monitoring it very closely 0_o so let stop the extra fight and enjoy the FINE server!! Thanks SK:) for all the work that you put into it we all appreciate it !!

Ps. it always start with one weak player that start the problem and then seek "team" to help him. Yes Putney i talk about you, you the start of this evil gang fights ;) Shame on you!!

Agreed! It would be extremely unjust to block players according to their location. ALL countries have trash. I'd hate to be blocked just because I'm American and we have scumbags umonst us.

There are no restrictions on PVP between individual players (one-on-one), so long as it is not violating any of the rules. However, teaming up to attack a single player without provocation is an unfair advantage. Left unchecked, PVP gangs (just like real life gangs) have the potential to make the entire server unplayable. Hence why they are prohibited.

Currently player files older than 7-days are purged in order to expedite the backup process. However, I plan to switch to incremental backups, so it will no longer be necessary to delete player files each week.

The players in question have all been barred from JT2 for one or more infractions. In addition, I added a rule last week that specifically prohibits bullying which should help to address your concerns.
