hi i've got a problem. when i join the server the game tell me: your clients version is not supported. server version is 0.4.dev-20120606.
servers protocol version is 11. clients version is 10.

For those who can't access this server anymore .. You need the latest minetest client to reach the server:

. Get latest binaries for your platform (if binaries is resulted of latest source code compilation)
. Or get latest source code and compile it.

For Windows (binaries)

No idea what it means, but if you use Linux, try to copy and paste the commands of the readme.txt of this site https://github.com/celeron55/minetest
Scroll down a bit :-) Doesn't matter if you already have halve of it, just do everything as it says... (EDIT: for the Linux, not windows Under: "Compiling on GNU/Linux:"

i got version 0.3.1 then got the ppa from minetest download ubuntu/mint unstable then updated my old version to the new one on synaptic package manager

I guess you're right ... but the PPA may not be updated yet ..

.. Strange that your ubuntu does not suggest you what to do when it can't execute a command not yet available on your system ...

I use OpenSUSE and SUSE Linux Enterprise ... So I m afraid that I can't help you more for your context issue

There isn't an official release, but I think it's on the nightly builds page (try the latest one there).
EDIT: Well, if you're on windows at least.
EDIT: Also supplied is the daily Ubuntu PPA which appears to have it, and an Arch Linux AUR PKGBUILD which will build the latest version, despite its older number.

Hey Redcrab, what's the highest altitude your server can handle? Want to build another layer to the world, highways and such, really high up but don't want to wreck the server. I've heard other's crash if someone goes too far up or down.

theoretically altitude from -32000 to +32000 ...

But I wont give "fly" priv sorry :D ...

The only rule of this server still valid for your request :
Be gentle , wise and do not disturb any existing player and build
