[Mod] Mese Crafter [0.3][mese_craft]

With this mod you can make mese blocks from nyancats and rainbows! In addition, mese crystal fragments can be crafted into mese crystals.

Crafting 54 mese blocks from 1 nyan cat

you dont need the mod, you will never need the mese and the nc is to rare

Seriously, I think a Nyan cat and its rainbows are much more decorative.

Also, on servers you can sell 1 nyancat/rainbow node for 1 diamond block

I mainly intended this mod for people who have more nyan cats than they can handle. There are those people out there. Also, a nyan cat might come with 15 rainbows. I know I don't have to use that many rainbows, I'd rather build a huge shop with mese protections.

Seems good sometimes a nyan cat is most rare thing in minetest but is useless and yes in mesecons mod is very usefull change a nyan cat for mese
BTW i like your mod and the thing of craft mese crystal for mese crystal fragments is good and usefull :D

by default, this mod is very uneconomic, but you can change the rarity of nyancats in the default mods mapgen.lua file. (the carbone subgame also has more common nyancats.)
if the nyancats are common to find, this can be useful.

i think a reverse reciepe, that allows you to craft nyancats from mese would also be good.

1. Obtain 9 mese blocks
2. Craft 1 rainbow block with 9 mese blocks
3. Craft 10 mese blocks with 1 rainbow block
4. Put one of those mese blocks aside
5. Notice that you now have 9 mese blocks
6. Goto 2.

Infinite mese! This mod can't be used on servers until you make the rainbow->mese recipe only output 9 mese blocks.

Haha, that's actually kind of funny @electrodude512. Hey, I wouldn't mind infinite mese. But yeah, you're right about the server. BUt, then again, might it only be used for money on certain servers?

I'm amazed that I haven't been on here in so long! My latest minetest accomplishment was mining by hand (well, as close as you can get in a computer game) a circle 30 blocks in diameter. It took forever but it's pretty cool.

I have the mod myself. There is no infinite mese, 9 mese blocks craft 1 rainbow block, 1 rainbow block crafts 9 mese blocks. Same with nyan cat itself: six rainbows craft nyan cat, nyan cat crafts 54 mese blocks, which when broken down can craft six rainbows again, which can craft a nyan cat. No infinite mese, just infinite crafting.

Must've been the screenshots that had you wrong.

Good mod man. This is a good start. Although it's not the most revolutionary mod ever, it's a surprisingly good idea considering the fact that it has bridged a very visible and slightly annoying to some people gap in Minetest. And those people who say we don't need this mod are actually right, but then we don't need any other mod or even Minetest either if that were to work out completely that way.

I refined your code.to be smaller. Also now you can place the crafting anywhere in the grid, as long as it has the shape.
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
