Advanced Schematic Files.

Merry Christmas ladies and gentlemen, I have a special treat for you.

Schematic files that can carry extended meta information such as Technics and Pipeworks nodes.

At the moment only OldCoder’s rewrite of worldedit can create these reliably, and he still wants to sort out a few issues before releasing it. But in the meantime any old worldedit can load these schems and they work.

There’s a trick though, there’s two schem files and you need to use both. And you need to use them both in the correct order. Certainly with some technic nodes, if you load the .mts version first your game (or server) will crash. So the instructions for all schems in this forum thread are the same:

Correctly choose Position 1.
//load <schem name>
//mtschemplace <schem name>

More presents.

I call this one Build Station. It looks like a radio station but it has a full range of Technic Medium Voltage machines, and it has that lovely little garden out the front.

Tip for server hosts – when it’s released, OldCoder has rebalanced the privileges system. In Final Minetest you can have these facilities as public conveniences. Still protected but people can use all the equipment. This means you can place them in positions on the map where you want to encourage people to start building.

BuildStation.zip Contains both schematic files.

31 x 24

47 high, 3 deep. Dig down 2 and mark the third.

Mods Required:

Technic and it’s dependencies.

Merry Christmas,

Andrew.

103 x 103
56 high, 3 deep.

Mods Required:

TeamHouse.zip contains both schem files.

Remember that you need to use both in the correct order:

The Restaurant

Beautifully styled and furnished, this restaurant has lovely gardens in the centre and several "serving stations" with technic machines. It comes with it's own underground power station capable of running a large city.

101 x 101
18 high, 10 deep.

You have to dig down 9 blocks and mark the tenth. This is because of the underground power station.

TheRestaurant.zip contains both schematic files, remember that you need to use both in the correct order.

Choose Position1
//load restaurant
//mtschemplace restaurant

Mods Required:

craft_guide
home_decor
technic

Cheers,

Andrew.

The Club House.

A nicely appointed public house where many people can use machines for free.

And blessed be the OldCoder and his clever tricks that made this possible. I first built this back when the latest Minetest was 0.4.12 but I was never able to properly share it until now.

67 x 67
33 high, 10 deep.

You have to dig down 9 nodes and mark the tenth because this one also has a very large underground power station.

ClubHouse.zip contains both schem files, remember that you have to use them both in the correct order:

Choose Position1
//load clubhouse
//mtschemplace clubhouse

Mods Required:

craft_guide
home_decor
moreblocks
technic

Cheers,

Andrew.

A nice little cottage, partly furnished.

Has medium voltage power.

41 x 41
10 high, 10 deep. Has underground power station.

Paired schems, same as the others above. With the new coderedit you can use the //loadboth command for these.

Cheers,

Andrew.
