Yep(Sorry for bad spelling, I'm only 10)
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,nor the years condemn, (For the fallen, In honur of ANZAC, 25th April 1915))
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We shall remember them.

This doesn't work for me...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,nor the years condemn, (For the fallen, In honur of ANZAC, 25th April 1915))
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

Hi all,

Just new to the MT universe, was crawling around mods, and thinking about this awesome mod.

After reading the lua and thread, try to install the mod.

Everything works ok, generating a world, but i've never seen an once of oil.

Tryed to mess with lua, no more succes.

Was thinking about opening a little serv so wanted to include this mod that seems very interresting.

Any tips ?

Regards.

I have 2 questions about this mod, which is an amazing idea by the way.

How rare is oil to find? I have had this mod for over a day now and haven't found any yet.

How good is it as furnace fuel in relation to coal?

Oil is rare, but in some parts of the Map theres a lot of it.

Awesome mod! I have an idea: what if you make oil sources generate like ores do, between -35 and -75, in large amounts for each vein, and the veins are more ''planar'' than up/down?
Also, if you update the pipes to move oil up/down, make curved pipes, it will look better.

Sfan, you may wish to look into my pipes mod for future versions of this one. It uses node boxes to create a complete set of pipes (in all directions), which you may find useful.

I found a fix to the weird bug where placing a pipe also makes another pipe under it.
Find the code that looks like this:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
minetest.register_on_placenode(function(pos, newnode, placer)
    pos.y = pos.y - 1 -- Fix a weird Bug

The line saying ''pos.y = pos.y - 1'' is what makes the pipe under the pipe. The way to fix this is to change the 1 to a 0, like so:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
minetest.register_on_placenode(function(pos, newnode, placer)
    pos.y = pos.y - 0 -- Fix a weird Bug

:D

oh. Well, that is what makes the pipes spawn under the other pipes, at -y 1.

If you have pipeworks installed, the sand tube will do this for you if you place it within 2 tiles of the fuel buckets.

Peace
