shoot...yeah after the PC gave out (after six months of ownership mind you) Ive switched to my Moms mac. Mac handles files strangely.

Oh and i forgot to say ill be deloping the game soon and shoul have the next version up in approx. 9 days at most. Will actually have time to test it this time!

Hey guys,
Am updating the mod now but I can’t find the /spawn COMMAND mod, sorry. Also, Wuzzy, I’m not sure how you want me to change the textures. Maybe you could give me a hint in exactly which direction you want me to go? And also, since the Windows machine gave out I can’t change transparency of colors (I used to use Paint.NET, now I have to use GIMP) I also don’t know how to make animated water. I will add the throwing mod, woo!

Alright! I Got the mod posted! New mods include Fishing, Throwing, Ropes and Moreblocks! (Probably more, I forgot) :)

I'll probably be doing extensive testing today. Are there ny kinks I should look out for or fix? Im also thinking about adding a colored lghts mod and also using the Crafting mod for creating mode only.

EDIT: I've found that 0.8 will ddefinitely crash onyou, sorry. Remove fishing and moreblocks.

EDIT 2: This project may be on hold. The Mac laptop completely locked up while playing my game, and the power, eject and rght arrow keys werent working to begin with. If we get the Mac fixed in 7 days, Ill upload the latest episode as fast as I can. If not, Ill call for help. But basically to create the latest version for yourself:
1. Remove Fishing and moreblocks
2. Add npcf and Peaceful_npc

I would apreciate it if someone would make a copy of this and post it here, that mac was the only computer that can connect to the web.

EDIT 3: The Mac is now up and running. Yay! 0.8.1 will be coming monday.

As you can see, I posted the latest version of the game. I'm not adding spawn yet; I haven't been able to test it yet but it will likely be in 0.9.
We'll be hitting version 1 soon, what are your thoughts on the game to far?

Okay sorry for not notifying you guys but I released 0.9 that has your commands. Unfortunately they dont have the right depends. I'm gonna work on that this or next week.

I've got an announcement to make:
From today moving forward I've been forced to suspend testing. Moms been wylin (shes one of those "any screen time is too much screen time, and if its screen time for a game then its too much too much screen time" people) out and banned Minetest temporarily. (other than the tirades, her other reason is that the school season is rampin back up) Of course, I may still be able to create new updates and versions, I just wont be able to test it. I also wont be able to spend as much time as id like working on the game as id like either, so some updates may seem hasty. (sorry!) Id greatly appreciate it if in the meantime either someone could do my work for me (make the changes I would make) or help with testing and debugging, I dont want to freeze up the game every time ;)
Changes that need to be made:
Depends for the mods, I forget what theyre called. (but you can see which mods they were by launching the game, it shows up when you start.)
Maybe more mobs, but remember, this is supposed to be kinda lightweight.
Transparent water texture, this is IMPERATIVE! (I hate feeling like Im about to dive straight into paint.)
If you dont work on the game thats fine, im not gonna hate on you, like "wth arent you working on my game" I tottaly understand. :) I just want the updates to be released in a timely manner.

Edit: If you want to make the changes yourself, this post is outdated, follow the next one instead. I also uploaded in page 4 a zip file to extract instead, gets craft table, wood door, stone hoe and wood hoe all working at the same time. :)



Hello, I installed your subgame Clonecraft, it's a good subgame too, though I haven't been playing it for long. I did have a problem of not being able to craft the craft table, or the wood door.

So I looked around the .lua files in the included mods, in Clonecraft\doors\init.lua I changed

And that fixed the wood door so it's craftable

These changes allowed both the wood door and the work bench to be craftable. I made the changes and reloaded my saved game, and was able to craft them without creating a new world.

I thought it would be best to submit this in a forum post here. If you have problems crafting the craft table, or the wood door make these changes in order to craft them. :)

I don't know if anyone else had problems crafting the craft table or wooden door, but thought I would post my fix here just in case. :)

this change has the benefit of changing one file, and may be better for future compatibility with potential updates to the mod. :)

This change or the previous one would get the crafting table and wood door craft-able. :)

I also made another change to get the wood hoe and stone hoe to work too. I added the cobble stone to the stone group, and sticks to the stick group.

Where do I upload my changes too?

Extract this zip file to your games\clonecraft\mods
folder to where ever you have your Minetest game installed to.

This is the fix from my third post, adding the wooden planks to the wood group to fix the door and the crafting table, and added cobble stone to the stone group, and sticks to the stick group to fix the wood hoe and stone hoe. Just one folder to extract for all the fixes I mentioned. :)

Really just one file init.lua, I figured zipping the whole directory would be better though.

Edit: you can just extract the init.lua file from this zip file to your games\clonecraft\mods\default folder if you wanted just the one file that was changed. :)

Alright, Our PCs are up and running. I will now actively work on Clonecraft. On Monday I hope to upload 0.9.1, with the bug fix. Thanks so much for supporting my project and helping me out.

I noticed a message from minetest, saying there are missing dependencies: moreblocks needed by the ropes mod, and spawn_sanitizer mod is missing dependencies called: bones, and carts.

Hey, I'm new to your mod and loving it! However, I was wondering about the following features:

Items Dropping instead of automatic pickup on node destroy
Achievements
Horses
Walk over items to pick them up

and I must be having a bug with the furnace. Whenever I put something in the top slot and fuel in the bottom slot the furnace will start, but it won't output anything into the single box on the right. Thoughts?

Hmmm...I haven't tried that, will do. I have had some issues crafting myself so that is a concern.

All I did was fix some nasty errors, removed uncompatible mods, etc. However, Creatures still has a nasty error when the game loads, I would appreciate help with that, was trying FOREVER to fix it but I just couldn't.

Just letting you know an error occurs every time I attempt to sleep (right click on bed).

How can I give the creative priv on a server with this I can't figure it out.

The creative priv isn't a big deal was curious the bigger issue I have is with the water. No matter what I do the water is not transparent all my other games it is but this one how do I make it transparent.

Hello everyone! Sorry I have not been very active at all since one of our laptops went down, and I lost the current version of Clonecraft I was working on. I am still too busy to actively update the game but when I have the time I will upload the game to GitHub and then resume development.
Thanks to everybody who plays the game for playing the game, and thanks to everyone with issues for being patient.
