Jordach found a solution to the IGNORE areas of mapgenv5. Maybe you could use it to create blocks of an exotic ore of some kind?

Can't craft Gondorian armors in inventory crafting slots :s
Does it require a special workbench ?

Thanks for that paramat!
The game uses modified paragenv7 on mgv7 currently, but it has been changed to mgv5 on github. (The latest git is very unstable, not advisable to use yet!)

I love the game. You make a good Job.
But there is one thing which disturbed me starting the game.
I do not like the following lable:

You used Tengwar looking letters as English letters (e.g. The 'LE' is used as a 'T') to write English words. I think, that makes no sense and it does not look well. But someone can read it if he really tries to do.
There is a "correct" way to write Enlish using Tengwar.
But i would like it like that:

Using the font and the language of the ring.

I know this is not important but it is the first thing you see. Moreover, remember Tolkien wrote the stories to complement the languages, not the other way round.
P.S. I am not sure it is the right word (trust the Internet) and i am less sure i wrote it right.

first i want to say that you did a good job , keep it up :) i hope you are still developing it
2rd : the un official server : minetest.umeahackerspace.se 60 000 is not working
i have been playing in it one night and it shutdown :( i hope you bring it back up cuz its just sad

What Minetest version are you using? I don't get that error in 0.4.11-dev, so it may be something to do with the fact you're using an older version of Minetest...

Also, does it happen whenever you use the book of crafts?

I'm using 0.4.10 version in a Debian machine (package 0.4.10+repack3_amd64).

i changed the recipes to use Athelas.
its not much...

I am currently looking for interested parties to work on the last major update for LOTT.
Of which, i only require a or two week of your time.
I shall state that I do not require anyone with complex coding skills, amateurs are certainly welcomed, also, I am particularly looking for any texture artist and modeler.

I suppose i will not get much replies for this, or perhaps none, but i will just give it a shot.

Wrong. I like LOTT, but there is too much for me to work on. Please keep it up for now. I can do a lot of your textures, which might be of help to you. (to be quite frank, the current textures look pretty cruddy.)

the game wil not be abandoned. there is just a pause, probably until december.
currently 5 people are involved in its development.
texture-updates are also planned (i will work on this).

Well, this sub-game is slowly growing, and new features are slowly being added. The most recent features that I can think of that have been added are young mallorn trees, a race selector which gives you a special skin and some initial stuff. There have been a couple of other small things added, and a fair bit of code tidying. But, it is very much alive. I'm currently working on adding traders, which should be good. I'm also working on basing lottmobs off of the modular version of mobs redo, so as to remove one mob api from the vast ranks of them!

I was thinking about ents. As I recall , didn't treebeard (the ent) have a home? So shouldn't the game lord of the test have ent homes?

I noticed a shared locked door placed by HobbitPower in my garden after I had already protected it. Does he have extra privs?

Thanks for your work! I really like the new leaves and trees, but not so much the wood (and the textures based off those.) I like the current one a lot... The one you made looks a little bit too ... bricky.

I would love it if you could do the same for the other tree and leaf textures!

i used the textures from VanessaE's more trees.
to me the wood looks more like bamboo than brick, but i agree with your standpoint.
i will revert to the old wood planks and only make a new door based on those.

the wiki said that mallors are like birches and more trees is the only mod i know that has birches.
if i find other birch textures i might try them as well.
