Why such a push for minimalism these days? Why so much dislike of variety?

Kinda awsum, eh?

I was too lazy to program more around that mapgen... minimalistic games are just easier to complete than XXL games :3

Well, if you've got a good idea, and you can get it across with minimalism, I don't see why that isn't an option. We could be like Minecraft and have a million gun mods. There's "variety", but it's not really called for. And besides, things don't always have to be complicated. :-)

Horray another update!
Image
- Lava
- Ores (coal and iron)
- New craftings

The chance of getting ores (and lava) rises when digging down.
Lava becomes scary because there's no cave around, so it can be behind of every node!

Thanks for a great game! I may have missed it, but is there food to restore health?

I would call it survival++, there are no foods.
Over all, this game is very minimal and was just an output of my experiments.

Wow its very nice lookin and fast. The textures work very well together.
Your screen shots don't do it justice though.
This is an excellent little game.

For all people who care about a player model: You can install and activate the following mod:
Player Model [playermodel]

It works just fine together with this subgame.
