I heard Minetest for Android has eliminated the support for other subgames or at least the other subgames are not selectable in the main menu. Either way, if this is true, this sucks hard.
Feature request: Would it be possible to be link the minetest android client to a server which streamed the actual gui for display. I'm just wondering about playing minetest with google Cardboard VR which uses a phone as display, so very cheap (if you have the phone) not much processing power (which would also be true older tablets). The minetest engine already has the 3d views built in, but would need a method of streaming the gui, and receiving input, so not trivial, but would put minetest at the cutting edge of VR...
Feature request: Actually wondering if as an intermediate step towards full VR whether would be possible to try and integrate tablet/phone movements to control minetest. This would mean movements tipping/tilting/pointing of the physical tablet or phone would change the view point and actions. eg Horizontal/vertical pan (or tilt?) = change view anticlockwise rotation = dig/punch, clockwise = place/use You could also put a visual control on the ground or in the sky which had Inventory, Drop, Jump/Climb, Sneak/Duck which you activated by targeting with the cursor for (eg) a second (or the Cardboard has a magnetic switch, so perhaps use this to activate). Option for walking or running could possibly be started by shaking fast or slow, and stop by shaking side to side.
I heard someome complain he can't use the sprint mod on a server. The sprint mod required to have the use key (usually [E] on PC) pressed, but somehow this is not possible in Android.
There is another way to sprint, by double-tap, but this depends on a server-side settings and many players hate double-tap.
The real problem is that the use key is not available on Android.
Had not played and tested it much, but already have several things to say.
+Controls are much better, than in unofficial mobile clients. +Rails are shown without bug. - GUI scaling factor was first thing i wanted to configure, but is very hard to change it back from wrong settings(see screenshot 3) -no sound option, even turning phone sound off not helped. -some inventory image was corrupted (see screenshot 1)

The loading speed at startup has increased dramatically since 0.4.10, the "autojump" feature (increased step height), and there have been several buttons added, as well as numerous other tweaks.
