Nearly there with replacing ancient Minetest Game based textures, to something that looks a bit nicer. (I can't draw cobble correctly, ever.)

How do you enable screenshots? Because f12 on my laptop turns off my WiFi (airplane mode) and how do you enable f7 and f2 all of those things?

Doesn't your laptop have an "fn" key or something like that you need to hold in order to use the function keys in the normal way? That's what my Toshiba does...

RHR, what you point out are unavoidable lighting glitches caused by generating mapchunks upwards: since the upper chunk is ungenerated the lower chunk cannot have the correct shadows. There is also another glitch at mapchunk borders where the biome material is replaced by stone, this is fixable through 'overgeneration' and i will push the fix very soon.

Also, VanessaE and her buddy Natureshadow provided me with a few more textures:

I also optimised the randomised grass, stone and other rotations from an ABM with chance, time =1 to a on_generated VoxelManipulation.

Time went from several seconds to this:

I also added the crafting guide which looks like one of those old arcade machine terminals.

Never use one texture, make a base pattern, then rotate it, create a new noise / pattern layer. Rinse repeat.

Again mgv7 modified through .conf, it's possible to use the 3D mountain noise to create floatlands emerging from the 2D noise ground terrain and extending to world top.

With a few more ores added to BFD, including gravel and clay, you can finally have nodes that adhere to gravity. Dirt, gravel, sand, clay and water sources randomly generate underground.
