Another dumb question brought to you by..., me :D

I have seen a physics engine which can be integrated into Irrlicht..., http://www.irrlicht3d.org/wiki/index.php?n=Main.GettingStartedWithBullet

but I am wondering if anyone knows if LuxRender might be able to be integrated as well? http://www.luxrender.net/en_GB/index
I have wondered in the past about a poss. of being able to integrate maybe even yafray

or are these only able to work per scene and not in a "live" environment such as MT due to constant updating?

I am not very techy in how these things work, just something I was wondering about in regards to how lighting is handled in MT... Not sure if something such as this could/would be able to help

I remember Toribash supporting PovRay (but as a screenshot generator); these renderers are strictly one frame at a time beasts. They aren't meant for realtime effort, though Intel made some progress with Enemy Territory, see;

Thank you Jordach.
yeh, I had a feeling they would not be useful for real-time gaming, though I was hopeful

I had come across this as well when I started looking into it out of curiosity. I had thought it was being used to control lighting (shadows etc.) as well as handling normalmapping
http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/forum//viewtopic.php?f=6&t=49713

I get curious but tbh I have zero understanding of computer/software technical language so, try as I may, I am unable to understand 90% of what I am reading so, thought I would ask to get answers from people who know wth is going on :P
