I updated from git and have to say that i really dislike the [new grass](https://github.com/SummerFields/Minetes ... _grass.png).

Everything looks so sallow and dreary.

Old grass on the left and new on the right:

I make a new download page.
https://summerfields.github.io/official ... m_Minetest

The principle:
You can choose the mods you want and the site makes a pack just for you.

Test and tell me, please.

Sometimes it unticks the checkbox below when i click in the lower half of the checkbox above. → http://videobin.org/+8l3/bg1.ogg

BTW: The difference is not that great 2.1MB for MT and 2.5MB for MT + all the mods.

Wow you guys managed to make cactus armor look kinda cool.
Its good to see sheilds added too, nice job.

It would be really cool to have a Minetest version of your MC leather armor tho,
the wolf head helmet and fur boots are neat.

Good textures.

I think grass is too shiny / light. It makes eyes tired

@lipki:

Do you like the grass node from the side? I personally prefer grass nearly halfway down the node or more, so that really bugs me when playing with this TP. Also, the linear grass is really bothersome after a while.

Thanks a lot for updating!

Here a little feedback on nodes textures:

Grass, i've grown to like textures with more or all grass on the side. It makes hills in the newer versions of mapgen more impressive and plausible.

I really like the new fence textures!

Cobble… not sure. I didn't like the old texture anymore. It was just to much. The new texture has surprising big stones in it. And the only real downside that's not really taste: You see the left edges much more clearly.

Aspen wood is fine, while aspen tree looks like the texture is askew.

I like the acacia wood from the side, but the red/orage doesn't fit so well with grey/white.

And i really don't like the hotbar. :( Everything is so neat and tidy, and then you have a freaky hotbar. :)

I also prefer when it covers a major portion of the node.
But the Summerfields is make like that.
I took liberties to Minetest, so I'll maybe change it.

I am unable to do this cobble stone, yet I try.

For wood, I did that fast :)

And for the hotbar, it is still a transfer of Summerfields, it is also part of the identity of the pack, it is important.
If I could change other interfaces, I would have.

Thanks a lot for .. your comments !
Makes me want to continue.

Just a quick question:

Why was armor removed? Now i can't easily spot the difference between people with armor skin and real armor. :)

Was it removed in upstream SF?

For this update, we really have adapt the Summerfields pack from Minecraft to Minetest.
