Hello,

im looking for a front texture for a new kind of vendor machine. It is a mese receptor and i am not that good with textures,
therefore im asking here.

The current texture looks like this:

Would be nice if anybody finds the time to make this.

I remember a better graphic of the 2D rat. Someone still has this, or another one?

I believe that the texture pack of 0.3.1 stable has a better rat texture. Look for the old Minetest version in the downloads tab in the main site of Minetest.

Because one of my goals with nodetest is to make it good looking by default I'll just list some textures that are still very ugly. That is not so much a request, it's more intended to draw your attention to things that could be better.
Most of them are the same as in minetest_game, so it's actually about improving minetest_game.
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

I think a sponge mod had a texture which looked like cheese.

I need a texture that symbolizes money. It will be displayed when a trader either asks for money or offers money for items. Perhaps a pile of coins would be best. 'money' refers to money from the money or money2 mod. Both do not use items.

Another thing: A better wood texture consisting of four logs instead of three would be great. Something similar to the ones in RealTest, but not directly copied, just inspired by it.

Yes, thank you! That comes very close. Only problem might be that it's pretty large as a texture. But perhaps that does not matter. Liscencse?

One other point: The texture ought to be quadratic. Can you add free space at the bottom to make it square? Else the image will look distorted. Just add a few transparent pixels for the lower half. That way, there'll be enough space for the actual price, and it will look distinct from other textures.
