oh a nice fishing mod that works would be nice
I tried a few on test worlds and the only one that loaded seemed to be broken or I couldn't work out how to use

I've got sort of a request. I am working on a Titanic model, whose name is "Farrigut." It looks a lot like Titanic, with some adjustments. I would love a steering wheel for a ship, a whistle, boilers, and propellers to make the ship more real. Also some rigging for the funnels would be nice. Thank you but, I'm not sure it would be related.
I think this idea might call for a texture pack to have a specific script within it which calls up something like "has special, or alt textures", which would cause MT to look for those within a folder, within the pack. Maybe could be done with .lua
I think MC does this via MCPatcher, which utilizes the ctm textures? So in a TP, the brick node may have several varying textures. The way I'm doing it now (personally) I have to manually select each of the variants, ideally it would just happen via magic and sorcery :P and could be turned on or off per the users desire in settings.
It might be really cool if it worked automatically with ground_content textures during map generation too... like stone, grass, etc.... even ores,
But, as with most ideas..., sounds cool but is either impossible, or difficult to do.

Does anyone know if the Nether mod will be updated anytime soon? I feel stupid for saying this but I have tried over and over again to find Nether castles and I have failed miserably. What do you guys think?

Oh, hey. Coincidentally, I just spent the last two weeks working on a tunnel-borer mod. Didn't look in this requests thread until now but I think it's exactly what's desired. :)

The mod is still under construction but I think it's pretty usable in its current state and I can't think of any remaining changes I'm planning that would break compatibility.

I a way to label chests that don't depend on technic I have a lot of chests and a poor memory
hover text or signs that I can place on a block and stay put if I remove the block I know the signs exists but I can't for the life of me remember what that mod was called

Hi there!

1. after changing a skelletonkey to a key, the key is labeled with the coordinates from the object wich the key is for and specially the possibillity to add an extra label like a name ("Lisa's chest' for example).
2. a keyring that stacks all keys together in one itemslot
the keyring should be open like a book or something when using it and shows it's keys (with the coordinates and the eventually name-tag).

What do you think about it?

The problem that you can't differ the keys is a big problem, making labels is nearly impossible.

The digger can be done with several robots:
* basic_robot - needs programming
* digtron - needs parts, and configuring them (example)
* TurtleBot: see program for digging forward and down

Placing stuff is doable, but more tricky, because of facing.

I think a cork tree mod would be useful. Cork could be used for closing vessels, making water buoyant blocks for building structures on water etc.

Since many mods make their own sugar, it would be nice to have a good sugar mod which adds sugar beet (and other possibilities) to get sugar. Other mods could depend on this mod.

I like the look of that mod but I find it too easy to cheat when I'm playing the game properly

Like sugar, there are different mods that register their own shears tool. An independent shears mod would thus be nice to have.

A pogo stick mod would be awesome. Steel pogo lasts 500 jumps, then it breaks sprains your ankle.

A better purpose for gold. Like currency maybe (yep, I'm a fan of Ludwig von Mises and other goldbugs). In singleplayer mode it would be better for a mod for trades with nature creatures or something like that.

- Nether Mod :
To make the Nether attractive, there should be a Structure to look for (a Dark Tower) where you could find a Treasure Chest. And the Treasure should be : the components of an other Portal to an other Realm. Of course, there would be Monsters to fight while you would be searching for the Tower.

This Realm would be deeper than the Nether. This Realm would be the antithesis of the Nether.
And there would be an other Structure to look for (a White Tower) where you could find either a Dragon Egg or the Dragon Himself. You would have to fight Guardians to free the Dragon to make Him a true mighty friend for the real world.

This would be a new MOD, of course. And its name would represent what it is made for.
It would have to be compatible with both versions 0.4.13 and 0.4.14.

That would be great. This could add a Quest to MineTest.

What do you think of this idea?
