Now jungles don't have grass (only rarity junglegrass) and this look bad. I propose add default grass to jungles. It will add the effect of living in the jungle. Example below.



Also lacks vines or lianas on map generation. Jungles now looks like dead.

Lianas are at the 4 corners of each trunk, you can see them in cross-section on the log top.
We could have more junglegrass. In reality a jungle floor isn't particularly dense, not much light.
This request will probably go nowhere unless you add an issue at Github.

I can't see lianas on jungle trees. I mean vines (on trunk) and lianas (from leaves) similar this screenshot.

Oh, I undestand, but impossible climb up the trunk now. Why not add lianas as separate node? Then will possible to climb up the trunk by a liana (on screenshot is separate node of liana).

I did consider making the sides of the jungletree climbable airlike nodes, like in my watershed lua mapgen, but that has problems. Adding separate liana nodes is a possibiity but this would further increase the render load of rainforest. The current jungletree texture would be split into the lianas and the dark bark.

Well then, I think it is necessary to add at least bushes (at least rarely) or many grass in jungles. I hope this is not noticeably increase the render load of jungles.

I'm working on biomes so will try making junglegrass more dense.
The clearing in your screenshot is rare, rainforest is very dense with trees.

I Would also like the vines to be a separated node from the trunk (a new vine node)

I would like to see co-coa beans and vines growing on the sides of some of the trees,and large fern like plants in different parts of a jungle biome all in Default. :)
