Looks really cool, but i think this would be more difficult in Minetest because of the chunk size.

Minecraft has 16*16*256 chunks, Minetest has 80*80*80 chunks. And i think we have more important stuff to do

It is amazing looking for sure. But... there is no way this old laptop would survive loading in worlds like that :P

It's three years old? Hasn't been touch in two. From what I understand c55 isn't working on MT anymore, so is anyone really developing with this as a roadmap at all?

I think celeron55's roadmap is still very relevant even if it is old. There are many important insights. It should not be forgotten. I can't stress this point more than enough:

Modders: Give feedback to the core developers (including me)

This is often forgotten; apparently many modders often silently work around engine limitations instead of giving feedback.

Slightly old roadmap is much better than no roadmap, and I agree there's a lot of good thinking in it. If only more people adhered to it? It should be split into subtasks as Github issues and combined as a Github roadmap I think.

Yes, most modders just want to make, not report bugs. Glad to see you're not one of them! I've seen you reporting issues upstream while working on your MineClone game for instance.
