Custom Lua map generator for Minetest (version 4.11 or above).
It completely changes map generation (forces singlenode, so using this in already generated world is not recommended).
Still it designed to bring maximal compatibility with current minetest_game (including rivers shape tuned to not create overflows of standard water), so it uses mostly original nodes with no overrides.
Mapgen contains noumerous biomes and relief types typically has sizes up to ~4km, based on 2 golden-ratio 3d perlin noises. It may be unbalanced globally and needs some tweaks or fixes.
Base part and geometry of mapgen is written and tested by MWraith, additional testing by Fess.
Surface layer creation is based by mudflow-like mechanism emulation originally created by Paramat (see
