[Mod] Space [space]

Version: 1
Requires: 0.4.13-dev or newer
Recomanded mod: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8059

Makes you able to go to the space!

The space, low gravity and astroids appear at +2000 height, outer space +4000, planets/worlds at +4100
The moon appear at 0,2500,0 (You can teleport your self to the moon by /teleport 70 2651 70)

All planets is 170*67*170*4 big!, the planetspawners is lightblue blocks, that you clearly can see in the space.
Planet spawners will disappear if it's too near other planets/worlds.
The planets will appear in a many difference styles.

Mars survive

Spacesuite (effects from +2000 height):
wear in slot 1 to use it, you will lost 8hp every 2 secund in vaccum if you not using it,
or lightly damage inside other blocks.
the suite is time limited 30-60 min (depends on lags), it using / refills from air bottles when it ends automatically, or you can craft the suit with bottles to refill.
it works in space only

Air generator:
can be used 5 times.

yeah, its taken from 2241.8 height :-)

The earth is made by a screenshot on the ground on a very big area
cant be more realistic!

What am I doing wrong? I am using minetest 0.4.13 with the default "minetest_game". If I am supposed to use something else please let me know!

im not 100% shore it works this time either, but is hopefully, because it placing the moon, a 150x150x150 big place in an unloaded part of the world.

Exactly the sort of mod I was looking for
just that possibility to travel outside the earth makes the game much more realistic, and adaptive, because you can travel from the earth :P

in v093 the astroids can grow and be really massive!
To make a astroid spawner, just /giveme space:astroid_spawner (be very carefull with this!)

I still get the same error but in mapgen.lua line 34 This is using 0.93 with minetest 0.4.13 and mapgen v7

the moon making the crashes, you can turn of it "space_moon" mod in v0931

I tried it with the dev version and it works perfectly!!! Might be good just to mention that in the requirements that it needs the dev version and doesn't work with 0.4.13 just to help minimize confusion. The mod is sooooo awesome. The kids want to make rocketships haha. I'm not sure exactly how that'd work but I was going to mess with the cars and see if I can make them move on the Y axis vs the x and z. Awesome awesome work, this is nothing short of amazing!!!

If you havent seen this yet: Mars survive
the idea with the space came from a part of this mod, you are living on mars, and can go to the space at +1000 height.

you need a spacesuite and refill your air to survive in this mod, harder then common survive + dangerous aliens :-)

you should add to where there is a vacuum in space and add the spacesuit from mars mod and a basic airgen and airlock

edit: there should be a landrush server for this
asteroid landrush ;)

Im working to include a part of the masurvive mod.

Seems like the skies on the generated planets just will mess up, need to be removed >_<
But the blocks will stay in the mod to dont make unknown skies until the mod next is finished.

have you activated the marsmod package?

the space mod is made in 4 parts:
space (the main)
space_moon (spawns the moon into earth)
space_planets (spawns planets)
marsruvive (the other space stuff)

you should rename the marssurvive so it doesnt conflict with the other mod

the reason to the name is marssurvive is to make a conflict because its same mod, but don't have all blocks / resources.

Becaouse its unnecessary to use dual functions
