[Mod] antipest ---- get rid of that sunflowers

by Gundul » Fri Jan 13, 2017 11:22

--- Antipest ---

Textures: New awesome texture. A big "Thank You" goes to TM3 !!

Depends: technic, flowers

Description: adds a technic rechargeable device to kill all sunflowers in
a radius of 20 nodes and turn them into coal

License: License for the code: LGPL
License for all the models, textures and sound: CC BY-SA 4.0

Now also available on Github:

Website: https://github.com/berengma/antipest

Download: https://github.com/berengma/antipest/archive/master.zip

All can be configured in the init.lua. Self explaining. Recipe is a bit expensive I know.
I do not like being things too easy. :) It keeps also newbies from clicking around generating
lag.

Every 81 sunflowers get one coalblock, every 9 sunflowers get one coal_lump

Rightclick on the ground to turn chat reports on/off

In the init.lua you can turn drops on and off.

Happy sunflower hunting,

Gundul

I am German, so you don't have to pm me English if you are also German.
The background is a lie.

That should be trivial. The number of sunflowers killed is already in the count variable. Just add
the number of sunflowers to players inventory :)

I am not a great recycling fan. Maybe i will do some day when I feel boring again :D
Btw: is there any use of them ? On my server you can make oil, but on others ?

Eh, I don't mean adding the sunflowers to inventory (but recycling is not that important).
Normally you just get seeds by digging sunflowers.

now with new awesome texture, made by TM3 :)

sunflowers will be fermentated and compressed to coal automatically :)
81 sunflowers = 1 coalblock and every 9 sunflowers = 1 coal_lump

The chat messages can be turned on/off by right clicking on the ground.

Drops can be configured in the init.lua with enable_drops setting

Go out and get them, :)

I. Am... so confused.
I am Green. I tend to binge-post. "All of this over a 16x16 representation of a cartoon cat ?!?! what has this world come to..." -TenPlus1, 2017.

lol. Sunflowers in Minetest are evil and must be punished ! They are invaders from an other cubic world to take over the peaceful building servers :)

They may indeed spread a bit but are also perfectly peaceful. They're probably just refugees from that other cubic world (do they come from there?), seeking a new home on our more friendly servers!
