ive noticed the home mod has some issues with mese cons..or vice versa...when you have them both enabled you cant craft dyes and painted objects become unknown nodes
If you can think it, you can make it.

Both mods work together in my local game and the crafting recipes don't seem to collide. Are you sure its the mesecon mod and the home mod?

i meant flowers mod..i don't know why i typed the home mod for the second time..
